Since January 1st 2023, the cardiac medical facilities of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the former Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin (DHZB) have become one unit. In the Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité (DHZC) we are pooling our competences to make cardiac medicine even better together.

At the Department of Congenital Heart Disease - Pediatric Cardiology, we have been caring for patients with congenital heart disease of all ages by a highly specialised team for more than 25 years. In addition to standardised surgical and interventional correction options, we offer individualised treatment solutions, especially for patients with highly complicated heart disease.
